A brief compendium of knowledge on caring for clothing:
Washing
Empty all pockets (unless you enjoy the
shirt smelling like energy gel or confetti from an old tissue :))
zip up zippers, turn clothes inside
out.
ATTENTION! Make sure any (if present)
velcro straps are fastened. Unfastened velcro can damage the fabric.
Wash clothes in the machine using a
program for sportswear or delicate fabrics (lower spin settings).
Washing temperature of 30 degrees,
Clothes can be dried in dryers with
low-temperature settings (IMPORTANT: washer-dryers usually dry at
high temperatures, which can simply damage the fabric structure),
Separate laundry by black, colored, and
white items. Dark colors can be mixed with black, but light (but not
white yet :)) we don’t recommend mixing.
General rules:
We always wash clothes after a single
use. Always (for ourselves and for friends at the ride :))
if there's no possibility to wash the
clothes right after the ride, don't put them in the laundry basket.
Instead, hang them up to dry. If it's heavily sweaty or soiled
(greetings to cyclocross cyclists :)), it would be good to soak them
in lukewarm water with detergent, mild soap, or laundry liquid. An
hour is enough. If exceptionally dirty, you can gently hand wash it,
read the tags, our clothing is made
from different fabrics with various properties.
Above all, have fun! Clothes are a tool to help you enjoy your bike, not a goal
